ATTENTION CONTESTANTS ! !We are now taking entries for the Senior Class as 40 & over. We will keep district points for year end awards in OK 08 with this new incentive. Spread the word and let's get this class to grow. There is also carryover from the Senior class to the Open.
National NBHA points will remain at 50 & over for the Senior Class.

NECESSARY TO RAISE OUR ENTRY FEES SLIGHTLY. EVEN AT THIS RATE WE STILL HAVE THE LOWEST ENTRY FEES AT THE AREA JACKPOTS, WE STILL PAY OUT 80% OF ALL ENTRY FEES (THUS INCREASING YOUR TOTAL PAY OUT CHECK) AND
WE WILL TRY ADDING MORE MONEY TO MORE JACKPOTS THROUGHOUT THE SEASON !

It is fully understood how difficult it is for some to complete their work hours for the district yearend awards. There ARE options to consider:
Bring in new members, bring in sponsorships,
awards or donations for points, have someone else
work for you or see Kacee for alternatives. There is
an answer to suit everyones situation and you will be
the one to benefit by the yearend awards package.
No one needs to be dropped from standings for yearend awards for lack of award points
New for 2010:
We will be dropping the mandatory $50 sponsorship fee requirement and asking all members to pay a $40 membership award fee per class within 2 months of running jackpots to count your district points for yearend awards. This may be paid in installments or in full by the due date. (New members just joining OK 08 - this fee is to be paid by the third jackpot from your joining date. Standings change for yearend right up till the last jackpot of the year so don't hesitate on joining in the middle of the year)
Sponsorships collected and/or ticket sales will count toward your work/award points along with bringing in new members. Any and all sponsorships go towards yearend awards raising the value of the award package so all of your help is welcome and needed.
This change was voted on by the membership. This district is run for and by the members, if any other changes or ideas come up please let the director know and we will all listen.
